Usage

You can run woob weather without any parameter to get an interactive prompt, or specify a command to run it directly and exit just after.

In this page we will use the interactive mode:

$ woob weather

Use the help command to see what are the available commands.

For more information about common options of console applications, read this documentation.

The first time you launch woob weather, it will ask you what backends you want to add and configure. You can also use the backends command to manage them, and to enable only specific backends.

Looking for a city

Usage:

weather> cities PATTERN

Example:

weather> cities puteaux
* (1) Puteaux 92800 (meteofrance)

Get current weather

Usage:

weather> current <# or ID>

For example, you can use the number of the previous city search results:

weather> current 1
Fri, 25 Mar 2011 12:59 pm CET: 19°C - Fair

Get forecasts

Usage:

weather> forecasts <# or ID>

For example:

weather> forecasts 1
